Super Smash Bros Brawl

Super Smash Brothers Brawl

I'm a Falcon Mainer now, but when Snake was mentioned to be a Brawler, I couldn't wait to get my hands on that grubby Wiimote and Nunchuk and start bustin out some moves with Snake. So, I go to a friends house after the release date, pick up that Wiimote and Nunchuk, choose Snake, and what do you think I get? Owned. That's right, owned. I had to practice with him in order to get good, or at least decent. So I decided to look on someone else as my main. I tryed out playing ROB, and that fit in. So I played ROB a lot, and I was owning people with spikes. In the Adventure mode, I kept spiking the "dark" versions of the characters and annoying my friend in Co-op cause he wanted to kill em. But then I got bored with ROB cause of his colors and it bored me, so I did Toon Link and I loved it then. Then I wanted to try out my Falcon Skills, just to make a joke, but it turns out I started playing with him a lot more, and well, here I am now. I'm a casual Brawler, I'm not much with AT's. I was a biggie on AT's in Melee though, I could wavedash and SHFFL. I was good at it. But now I've played Brawl a lot more, so my Melee skills have rusted. If I practice, I can still get my AT's straight. I could do a lot better with SHFFLing.

So I see all these people using Gamecube controllers once more, and they say it's better, but why? Why not get with the new times and use Wiimotes and Classic controllers? I only know 5 other people (except me) who don't use Gamecube controllers. Hand me a GC controller, I'm bound to phail. I'm just a teeny bit better on the Wiimote, but not nearly as good as I am on the Wiimote + Nunchuk.

My Wii doesn't have any Online, cause it sucks, but if I could have Online, it would be awesome.

hmmmm lol.

I agree with you... they made Snake with too much ranged attacks. I mean, Snake's only combat moves are his side A (which is slow) and his A combo (which is weak). Everything else is kinda firepower, which isn't great, unless you have some random decoy with you

I say the GB controller is better because you can use the cheap C-Stick. And the jump button and the move buttons are on different hands, so when you try to jump to the side, it is easier to do so without hurting your wrist. You can say that I can use the up button on the wiimote, but it is very hard to use that without accidentally pressing the grab button. My main character's grab taX a very long time, so im sure to die if i do that. What is SHUFF and AT? I agree with alex. Snake is good for teams, but not so good for just normal.

Wiimote all the way!

GC controllers are for those who find it hard to do two things at once. In this case, it's holding a direction and pressing a button.

Not an insult tho... everyone messes up now and then. But I say that the GC is pretty cheap.

Also Don, only you would hurt your wrist when playing a game that doesn't involve movement.

I feel too smart... someone make me feel bad.
